Julie has proven herself to be an excellent school trustee and community leader. She works enthusiastically and compassionately with the schools, community and other levels of government to ensure the best for the students of Pembina Trails School Division. In the past 4 years she has served as Vice Chair and Chair of the Board. With her positive and effective leadership the division has continued to grow and improve.
Julie is also actively involved in other community groups including South Winnipeg Community Centre and Richmond Kings Nursery School. She not only volunteers her time and energy to these groups but always takes on a leadership role. She has committed herself to making our community a better place for our children.
Julie Fisher has done an outstanding job as School Board Chair for the Pembina Trails School Division, and is committed to providing quality education to the children and families of South Winnipeg. Two new schools are coming to our district because of her strong advocacy. Julie also serves as President of the South Winnipeg Community Centre, which does a great job providing important recreation services to our growing and diverse community.
I have had the pleasure of working with Julie on the Richmond Kings Nursery School board for the past 8 years. She is a hard working and compassionate member of our school community. She leads our board with confidence and clarity.
Julie Fisher has been a valuable member of the Fort Garry Community Network’s Healthy Together Now (HTN) Selection Committee for the last 6 years.
